Flyer & Mock Fine
Included in the kit is the artwork for two campaign materials that you can use in your program, a flyer (DL size) with information on the problem with dog poo and what owners can do and a 'mock fine'. These have been designed as 'conversation starters' when approaching dog owners in parks, streets and beaches (see Tips for Approaching Dog Owners) or for display at reception areas.
Usage Guidelines
The flyer and mock fine are free to use and you may insert your own logo. There are no copyright restrictions on using the flyer or mock fine. You are also welcome to insert your own logo.
Flyer
This flyer was developed for councils to handout to dog owners. It explains the problems caused by unremoved dog poo as well as how dog owners can help. You can print this flyer out on an office printer, three to a page, or have it professionally produced with your own logo. You can also order copies from Lily Petreska at the Responsible Pet Ownership Program, Department of Primary Industries, on 9217 4347.
Mock fine
The 'mock fine' is an attention grabbing small handbill that looks like you are handing out money! It includes some key educational messages on the back.
To obtain printed quantities of the mock fine, contact the designer who will generally be able to supply them within 48 hours. There is no charge for inserting your logo, with the only cost for printing at the following rates:
Cost: 8 fines per A4 sheet @ $2.72 per sheet. Higher quantities may reduce the price.
