Begining with consultations across Victoria in August 2007, this kit has undergone extensive development with multiple agency input and advisory and consultative committees with representation from a range of both local and state governments and industry.

Tackling residential illegal dumping, named the number one illegal dumping priority for Victorian Local Governments, this kit provides:

ready-to-use communication packs for residents, landlords, real estates, owners corporations and tenants
enforcement guidelines
a variety of education tools, including: website proformas, fact sheets and a range of signage

Consumer Affairs Victoria, Tenants Union of Victoria, the Department of Human Services, EPA Vic, MAV, the Real Estate Institute of Victoria are demonstrating agency support for this kit and are engaging in a range of activities to get this essential information to residents, tenants, landlords, owners corporations and real estates to prevent illegal dumping.
